A WARRIOR
AND A LADY

Cyrena (Sigh-REE-nah) of Seymonne grew up, as her name suggests, in the small town of Seymonne, in central Flantinon. It was there she first learned swordplay and the knightly ideals.

At a young age, Cyrena joined the Order of The Knights of Sanctus Mellusius, or the Mellusine Knights, moving to the big city of Ville-de-Luce, a few leagues to the south of Seymonne.

After winning the day at the battle of Al Zaqara, Cyrena and her battalion of Mellusine knights take control of the region. Cyrena climbs to the highest ground and plants the standard so all can see that her forces hold the territory.

Cyrena was the lone survivor of a phalanx of Mellusine knights who were attacked by an enormous horde of smeddeg. Afterwards, she determined that an air-cavalry unit of Draken knights could have easily laid waste to the smeddeg and saved her people; Thus, she sought out Flavius and his young squire Draven to secure Kilravock as a Dragon reach. She presents the Book of the Draken to Draven in hopes of him becoming a Draken Knight and of him convincing Flavius to aid her in her cause. This first drawing depicts Cyrena in the desert of Al Zaqara,

CLOSE-UP OF THE FACE OF LADY CYRENA

Although Cyrena is not a Draken, in combat, she wields a magical dragonsword. These weapons, whilst known as the swords of the Draken Knights, are almost but not entirely exclusive to those famous warriors.
