Cyrena (Sigh-REE-nah) was the lone survivor of a phalanx of Mellusine knights who were attack by an enormous horde of smeddeg. She determined that an air-cavalry unit of Draken knights could have easily laid waste to the smeddeg and saved her people; Thus, she sought out Flavius and his young squire Draven to secure Kilravock as a Dragon reach. She presents the book of the Draken to Draven in hopes of him becoming a Draken Knight and of him convincing Flavius to aid her in her cause.
