TANNETH, a VAQLORII, grew up in the Vaqlorii-held territory in Northern Scrantinon. She studied magic briefly under MU'n'Dru before adventuring on her own.

QAAZ, a MOLOKOTH, a small creature indigenous to the Chaoslands, frequently rides on Tanneth's shoulder. Qaaz has three insectoid eyes and three horns, and is remarkably dextrous.

Having taken possession of the Orb of Time, Space, and Consciousness. and becoming attuned to it, Tanneth finds herself in a strange outer realm known as The Chaoslands. Desperately needing some sort of guide to this strange and dangerous plane of existence, Tanneth calls a Familiar. A Molokoth, a creature indigenous to this weird realm, answers the call. His name is Qaaz. Soon, he begins to hang close to Tanneth. Between the two, and the orb, which she later attaches to the Staff of the Chaoslands, they seek a way back to Varzuun.

This strange, three-eyed, fork-tailed. blue-skinned creature is Qaaz, a Molokoth. His species is indiginous to the Chaoslands, a plane of existence where the laws of physics are tenuous at best. When Tanneth became trapped there, after seeking the third part of the Orb of Time and Space, she found herself in need of someone or something with knowledge of that realm who could help her find her way home. She put out a magical call, and Qaaz answered, becoming her familiar. He always stays close to Tanneth, often riding on her shoulder.
