Landruü was originally a Ranger, the Warden of Hever Forest. This is first painting of Landruü, depicting him in the days before he discovered the Orb of Mental Prowess - with ruddy (reddish-brown) hair and beard. In the novels, he has dark hair and beard.
Here, whilst exploring the eastern lands in or near Grüumania, Landruü discovers one of the Fae, hidden amongst some ruins.
In combat, Landruü wields an enchanted heavysabre or the mysterious magical Moonbow.
