Acolytes are devout followers of Ānak who are in training to become priests and priestesses. This young acolyte who is named Bronwyn assists high-priest (Tertius) Culhane with various rituals, spells and healing ministrations. Draven Valencourt, the young squire to the knight Flavius, develops his first crush on this young priestess-to-be; But, is she too pure and innocent to give him what every teenage boy wants - or is she actually a distraction to his own training?
Here, she prepares for a journey to Vythunia, in search of the lost tomb of Dringomel. In her Healer's backpack are a scoll of prayers & rituals, a staff of healing, potions, poultices, gauzes, salves, balms and herbs. At her waist, a beltpouch with spell/ritual components; At her belt, the communion vessel and holy symbol.
