The Vaqlorii are a race of slender forest-dwelling people with a history mythically dating back a thousand centuries. Many of the Vaqlorii know intimately the forests, woodlands, and vast spaces of Varzuun's wilderness, both mundane and magical. Over said hudred millennia or so, the Vaqlorii have developed their formidable magical talents and combat skills needed to survive in the perilous wildernesses of Varzuun. ⬆ Slim, beautiful and mysterious, the Vaqlorii are skilled practitioners of magic and lovers of the arcane arts. There are some who believe the Vaqlorii are distantly related to the Fae (Faeries). VAQLORII PHYSIOGNOMY: THE SHAPE OF THE SKULL ⬆ The Vaqlorii skull is long and tapered, compared to a human skull. The jaw, nose, and especially the ears are quite pointed. The eyes are large, to see well in the dark forest nights. This can leave the Vaqlorii slightly vulnerable in very bright light, though not nearly as sensitive as the Maedar. The Vaqlorii move about as frequently at night as they do in the daylight.	VAQLORII PHYSIOGNOMY: THE SHAPE OF THE BODY ⬆ Vaqlorii bodies are slender, lithe and light, with very little body fat. The Vaqlorii are nimble, swift. and capable of squeezing through and into tight spaces. Despite being somewhat shorter and slimmer than humans, they are often nearly or equally as strong. The Vaqlorii are phyically active throughout their lives, running, leaping, dancing. Vaqlorii feet have four toes. It is unknown how long the Vaqlorii live, and they seldom show signs of aging, looking similar to human teens, until very elderly.	VAQLORII PHYSIOGNOMY: THE MAGIC IN THEIR EYES ⬆ Vaqlorii eyes have small irises of light purple, golden, or silver tones, though among practitioners of magic, the irises seem to disappear entirely, leaving white orbs with simply a tiny black pupil. Under non-magical circumstances, Vaqlorii eyes do NOT glow. They can reflect light, often appearing to glow, cat-like, but when certain spells are cast, that is a whole different reality.	VAQLORII PHYSIOGNOMY: THOSE EARS ! ⬆ Vaqlorii ears are much like cat ears: They are quite sensitive to a wide range of sounds, and they can gimbal and swivel to point in the direction of a sound. This ability, to subtly listen in on things/people, is one of many things that give the Vaqlorii their special attunement to the natural world. The Vaqlorii often adorn their ears with things from simple wire hoops or studs, to feathers, ribbons, or flowers.	VAQLORII PHYSIOGNOMY: THAT MAGNIFICENT HAIR ! ⬆ Vaqlorii hair is long, straight, fine and usually stark white, silver, or platinum in tone, though some may have subtle bluish or pinkish highlights, and it grows quite quickly. Many humans are under the belief that Vaqlorii hair magically untangles itself. Not True. All Vaqlorii take much pride in their hair, braiding, combing, dressing it up or down, and wearing jewelry in it. The head hair and eye lashes are it. Vaqlorii have NO body hair. The Vaqlorii have white skin with a slightly bluish hue, though there are rumours of an offshoot race with deep blue skin tones. Vaqlorii skin is smooth and even, having no moles, birthmarks, freckles, or spots. The Vaqlorii do not seem to scar, unless the wound is very severe.
GRAND CHANCELLOR SENNELATH LEADER OF THE SERUNCIL ENCLAVE ⬆ Grand Chancellor Sennelath is a venerable and well-respected leader controlling a large expanse of Vaqlorii territory comprising much of Eirhannon and west Scrantinon.	MÜ'n'Dru & THE viDRUIDS: THE LIVING EARTH MAGIC ⬆ The Vaqlorii are surprizingly intimately attuned to the natural world, so it is not surprizing that MÜ'n'Dru (pronounced Moon-Drew), the peace-loving high priestess of the viDruid enclave overseeing the Seruncil Forest, just west of the Kilravock Dragon Reach, is a Vaqlorii. The viDruid Tribe, wisely lead by MÜ'n'Dru, is the body of druids and others who defend the magically enchanted Seruncil forest. They are total pacifists - totally commited to peace. They will not fight or use violence in defense of their grove, but their intimate knowledge of the woodlands and their magical talents are sufficient to keep the grove and forest safe and intact.	TYPICAL WEAPONS OF Vaqlorii weaponry is usually smaller, lighter, faster than that wielded by humans or Maedar.	TANNETH: A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF AN ADVENTURER EXTRAORDINAIRE ⬆ Tanneth is an amateur sorceress who becomes attuned to a powerful ancient artifact, the magical Orb of Time {a modulator of the space-time continuum}, Tanneth, a bit of a dilettante, dabbles in thievery and stealth, and the arcane arts of magic, but she is master of neither. With her tiny companion Qaaz on her shoulder, and a penchant for getting herself and her friends into and out of trouble, she finds adventure on and off Varzuun. She is subtle, stealthy, spontaneous, nimble of foot and fingers, crafty, capricious, and sly. Some say Tanneth is undisciplined, reckless. Will her curiosity get the better of her?	THESE ARE A FEW OF THEIR FAVOURITE THINGS... ⬆ The Vaqlorii beverage of choice is often herbal teas, or fine wines. Vaqlorii vintners are among the best in all Varzuun. Much like the Maedar, the Vaqlorii also quite enjoy a variety of beverages made from surface grains or also mushrooms. The Vaqlorii don't often eat meat, but occasionally enjoy soups or stews, especially with seafood. Eggs, of various species, along with marinated vegetables and mushrooms, usually comprise a typical evening meal, while grain or root mashes, infused with flowers, berries, or herbs, often starts the day.
